Frontier House DC is a private membership club established to bring together the people building, financing, and supporting America's national security future.
The House exists for members to work, meet, build relationships, exchange ideas, and host productive gatherings.
Membership carries both privileges and responsibilities. Every member is expected to exercise good judgment, respect other members, and take responsibility for their guests and activities.
These policies establish the rules for using the House. FHDC management may provide reasonable operational instructions, restrict activities, or deny access when necessary to protect the Club, its members, guests, or property.
The House's standard operating hours are 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, Monday through Friday, except announced closures or adjusted hours.
Members may use designated common areas during operating hours, subject to availability, scheduled activities, and staff direction.
Access outside normal hours requires advance authorization from FHDC management.
Membership access is personal and cannot be transferred, loaned, or shared.
Members are encouraged to use the House for professional work, conversations, informal meetings, and collaboration.
Common areas are shared spaces and are not reserved exclusively for any member unless approved.
Meetings or activities requiring dedicated space, significant resources, or special arrangements must be coordinated with FHDC staff.
Members must be considerate of noise, privacy, and other House activities.
Members must leave rooms, furniture, equipment, and shared spaces in appropriate condition.

Members must promptly report damaged property, unsafe conditions, or maintenance concerns to FHDC staff.
Members are encouraged to introduce appropriate colleagues, collaborators, and professional contacts to the House.
Members may identify up to seven pre-authorized guests for their membership records.
Pre-authorization identifies individuals who may be invited; it does not provide independent membership privileges or unrestricted access.
All guests must be invited or otherwise authorized by a current member or FHDC management.
Members must coordinate guest visits with FHDC staff and comply with applicable arrival and access instructions.
FHDC may require advance guest information, identification, or confirmation of authorization.
FHDC may limit guest numbers or access based on space, events, security, or operational needs.
The sponsoring member is responsible for ensuring guests understand and follow House policies.
Guests may not independently use the House as members, transfer access to others, or assume that an invitation provides continuing access.
A sponsoring member must remain responsible and available for their guests while those guests are at the House, unless FHDC management has approved another arrangement.
Guests are subject to the same standards of professional conduct, confidentiality, facility use, and security as members.
FHDC may refuse entry or require a guest to leave for conduct inconsistent with Club policies.
Repeated guest violations may affect the sponsoring member's privileges.
FHDC encourages members to organize and host breakfasts, lunches, discussions, happy hours, briefings, working groups, and other professional gatherings that advance the Club's mission.
The House is intended to be actively used by its members, with FHDC staff supporting approved activities.
