A conversation at Frontier House

The House Is Always in Session.

FHDC programming creates a reason to walk through the door when you don't already have one.

The FHDC Approach

Less audience. More participation.

Frontier House does not exist to recreate the Washington conference circuit inside a smaller building.

Programming is intentionally suited to the House: conversational, small-format, participatory, and personal.

  • Some gatherings examine consequential national security issues.
  • Some put an experienced leader in a room with people who have good questions.
  • Some bring members together over dinner.
  • Some exist simply because people should occasionally have a drink together without an agenda.
  • The format changes.
  • The room stays human.

The conversation continues.

Recorded from Moon Landing Studio at Frontier House, Last Week in D.C. examines developments, people, and ideas shaping Washington's national security community.

Interviews and conversations extend selected perspectives beyond the room while giving FHDC a platform to tell the stories of the community surrounding the House.

Access to Programming

FHDC programming is principally designed for members.

Some gatherings allow approved guests or invited participants. Others are restricted to members.

Eligibility, capacity, confidentiality requirements, invitations, dates, and RSVP instructions vary by program and are communicated with the relevant event information.

Programming changes throughout the year. Individual events, speakers, or attendance opportunities are not guaranteed as part of membership.

Certain special activities may carry an additional cost or require separate arrangements; any such requirement is communicated in advance.

Want to Create Something Yourself?
